At Next Gen, we recognize that defending at U14 requires discipline, communication, and tactical awareness. At this stage, players must connect their individual skills with a deeper understanding of how to defend as a unit.

Our sessions focus on sharpening 1v1 defending, improving anticipation and positioning, and developing strong tackling technique. Players also work on group defending—covering, shifting as a line, pressing as a team, and transitioning quickly from defense into attack.

Through realistic and competitive scenarios, we teach players that great defending is built on focus, teamwork, and a willingness to outwork opponents.
